It is co-directed by <a href=\"https:\/\/cv.hal.science\/ferran-argelaguet-sanz\">Ferran Argelaguet<\/a> (25%), <a href=\"https:\/\/jeanmarienormand.fr\/\">Jean-Marie Normand<\/a> (25%) and also co-supervised by <a href=\"https:\/\/people.rennes.inria.fr\/Anatole.Lecuyer\/\">Anatole L\u00e9cuyer<\/a> (25%) and myself (25%). In her PhD Thesis, Chenyao LI will aim to better understand the relation between avatars and the perception of virtual urban spaces and whether avatars can contribute to convey specific urban ambiances. It is directed by<a href=\"https:\/\/yannickprie.net\/\"> Yannick Pri\u00e9<\/a> and co-supervised by <a href=\"https:\/\/jean-py.github.io\/jpriviere\/\">Jean-Philippe Rivi\u00e8re<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/jeanmarienormand.fr\/\">Jean-Marie Normand<\/a> and myself. In his PhD Thesis, Majd Bitar will focus on transitions between places within social VR environments (e.g., navigating within a VR environment or teleporting between environments) and their impact on collaboration.
